Corporate Headquarters

Providing venture capital and leadership skills to build and launch biotechnology companies with the potential to make a dramatic difference in patients’ lives, Third Rock Ventures chose LAB to redesign their headquarters on Newbury Street in Boston to reflect their cutting edge position. Located in three Back Bay townhouses on multiple split levels, we created three strong centers of collaboration to unify the company. These spaces include the board room and informal kitchen, an entry lobby that serves as work space and breakout space to a suite of conference rooms and a company kitchen “bistro” on the top floor whose colorful palette recalls the company’s original low-rent beginnings. Original spray paint art depicts the company’s mission to build companies with explosive potential to cure disease.
